What is it?
The Abraham Hicks Prosperity Game, explained
The Prosperity Game comes from Ask and It Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks – one of the foundational Law of Attraction texts. It’s a process designed to shift your relationship with money by getting you into the feeling of abundance before the abundance arrives in physical form.
The idea is simple, and that’s the whole point. On Day 1, you receive a virtual deposit of $1,000. You spend it – in your journal, in your imagination – on whatever brings you genuine joy. On Day 2, $2,000 arrives. Day 3, $3,000. All the way to Day 30, when $30,000 lands in your account.
You’re not visualizing in the abstract. You’re making real spending decisions. Researching things, choosing between options, feeling the pleasure of generosity or luxury or adventure. That specificity is what makes it work. It trains your nervous system to stop flinching at large amounts of money.
“The game asks you to practice the feeling of abundance. Not to fake it, but to let yourself actually feel what it would be like to have more than enough. That feeling is the whole point.”
— Vickie, Discovering Peace
Most of us have a complicated relationship with money. We want it, but thinking about it brings up anxiety, scarcity, or guilt. The Prosperity Game gently interrupts that pattern. Not by telling you to just think positive, but by giving you a daily practice of imagining ease and sufficiency until it starts to feel like your natural state.
How to Play

02
Receive your daily deposit
Each day your virtual allowance grows by $1,000. Day 1 starts at $1,000. By Day 30 you’ll have $30,000 to spend in a single day. The amounts get gloriously unruly.
03
Spend it joyfully
Use the spending journal to record what you buy: travel, home upgrades, gifts for people you love, experiences you’ve always wanted. Be specific. Be delighted. That’s the practice.
04
Track real manifestations
As you play, real-life abundance often starts showing up – unexpected money, opportunities, synchronicities. Log those too. Watching your manifestation list grow is its own kind of magic.
The deeper reason
Why this practice actually works
The Prosperity Game isn’t just a fun exercise. There’s real LOA science behind why it shifts things.
🧠
It rewires your money story
Most of us flinch at big numbers, even imaginary ones. Daily practice with larger and larger amounts gradually dissolves that resistance, making abundance feel more familiar and less threatening to your nervous system.
💫
Receive your daily deposit
Abraham teaches that it’s the feeling of abundance, not the thought of it, that shifts your vibration. Spending joyfully in your journal generates that feeling in your body, right now, without waiting for “real” money to arrive first.
✍🏼
Specificity makes it real
Vague visualization fades. But when you research a specific hotel, choose between two flights, or decide exactly which piece of furniture to buy, your imagination lights up. That specificity is what makes the practice stick.
🌱
Gentle enough to actually do
Five minutes a day. No pressure to get it right. No performance required. This practice meets you where you are, even on the days when everything feels like a lot, and asks only that you spend a little time feeling good.
Common Questions
Everything you might be wondering
What is the Abraham Hicks Prosperity Game?
The Prosperity Game is a Law of Attraction process from Ask and It Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks. Each day you imagine receiving a growing deposit of virtual money — starting at $1,000 and increasing by $1,000 each day — and you spend it all joyfully in your journal. The goal is to shift your vibrational relationship with money and abundance by practicing the feeling of having more than enough.
How do you play the Prosperity Game?
Each day, you receive a virtual allowance that grows by $1,000 per day: $1,000 on Day 1, $2,000 on Day 2, and so on up to $30,000 on Day 30. You write down or journal exactly how you would spend that money, in as much detail and joy as possible. The practice trains your mind to think abundantly and removes resistance around receiving.
Is the Prosperity Game free?
Yes! The Discovering Peace Prosperity Game app is completely free to use. You just need to create a free account by joining the Discovering Peace newsletter.
Do I need to play every single day?
No. The Prosperity Game is meant to be gentle and joyful, not another thing on your to-do list. You can play at your own pace, skip days, and come back whenever you feel ready. The goal is to feel good, not to be perfect.
What is the total amount of money in the 30-day Prosperity Game?
Over 30 days, the total virtual allowance adds up to $465,000. Day 1 starts at $1,000 and increases by $1,000 each day through Day 30 at $30,000.
