Abraham Hicks and the Emotional Grid

Since Jerry’s croaking, it seems as if the teachings are more resonant than ever before. Abraham is moving forward, focusing on the Emotional Grid as the starting point for allowing your vortex to manifest around you. It really isn’t all that different from what they have been saying for years. It just seems like they have found a new analogy that more and more people are GETTING and loving.

The discussions have been heavily focusing on the positive feeling aspects of what you want instead of the hows and whens that usually accompany the desire.

You just need to focus for 17 seconds to get the grid moving and, if you can make it to 68 seconds, that grid is well on it’s way to attracting more things that match all the wonderful feelings you seeded your grid with.

“Within 17 seconds of focusing on something, a matching vibration becomes activated. And now, as that focus becomes stronger and the vibration becomes clearer, the Law of Attraction will bring to you more thoughts that match. At this point, the vibration will not have much attraction power, but if you maintain your focus longer, the power of the vibration will become further-reaching. And if you manage to stay purely focused upon any thought for as little as 68 seconds, the vibration is powerful enough that its manifestation begins.”

From Ask and It Is Given

The emotional scale, that Abraham talked about quite a bit in the past, and which helped so many, has been simplified down a bit into “going general”. Joanie McMahon has a good description of this process on her blog.

When you are looking to manifest something, you don’t need to be so specific that the feelings feel like a stretch to you. Going generally positive is more than enough to get you rolling! Why do you want what you want? How will it make you feel? There is no need to figure it all out and get all specific in your thoughts. Positve, general and good feeling will create a grid that will fill in ON IT’S OWN with other things that will match your positive feelings. Take some time to actually FEEL the words you are adding to your grid. Get in touch with the vibration of the emotion.

Some general positive feelings are:

Fun
Ease
Flowing
Smooth
Easy
Energizing
Exciting
Comfortable
Calm
Confident
Expansive…

The list can go on and on. Thinking about the feeling words reminded me of the ABC Game process that Esther used to do. A while back, I compiled quite a long list of words for the “Game” and looking them over, there are LOTS on the list that would work for the Emotional Grid.

It is easy enough to positively daydream your grid into being. Anyone can daydream for a minute, and I would bet that most of us already do, without being consciously aware of what we are creating.

Put your desire in the middle of the grid and then add the good feelings you have about your desire. How will achieving that desire make you FEEL?? You DO NOT have to fill in all the blocks! The law of attraction and the fairies of the universe will magically fill in the empty squares for you, once you get that awesome positive vibe going!

Remember, you have already asked for what you want and the cooperative Universe has it all ready for you. Now all you have to do is ALLOW it. Ease and flow your way into it. :)

If you want a more “hands on” version of the grid, I have created one for you. :)

You can download a printable version here.

Maybe, as the fairies of the universe fill in the grids for you, you can put the magical notes in your grid so you can see how successful you are at this “creating your own reality” business. :D

I agree with Sheridan, a really cool thing to share.

My own personal grid looks different, but variety rocks too, eh?

I had a little chuckle as I was looking though my logs for the blog.   A website was discussing this post and someone made a comment about my apparently irreverent ”Jerry’s croaking” wording choice.  Evidently that person is not a Abe person.  :D  There is NO death and we, as humans, make too big of a deal of the whole thing.  The croaking term was coined by them, not me :)
